In 2024, the ECNU-Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer adopted the annual development strategy of "standing in the new AI era and leading science and technology innovation education". It has carried out a series of solid work in the cultivation of science and technology innovation talents, continuously deepening and expanding exchanges and cooperation with sister schools, science and technology innovation enterprises, and government agencies, promoting the construction of a tripartite platform between the school, government, and enterprise, promoting the coordinated development of industry, academia, research and application, and jointly building a high-quality science and technology innovation education resource ecosystem.


On the morning of March 21st, Han Shenghao, Dean of the School of International Innovation and Transformation at Shandong University, and his delegation visited our institution for in-depth communication and exchange with He Jiaxun, Executive Dean of the Shanghai International Chief Technology Officer College at East China Normal University, and others on future cooperation between the two sides. Qiao Yue, Vice Dean of the School of International Innovation and Transformation at Shandong University, Zhao Yun, Assistant Dean, Wu Xiaobo, Director of the Office, Peng Yuxin, Deputy Director of CoETT, and Cheng Yufei, Product Manager, participated in the exchange meeting.


He Jiaxun introduced the development process of Academician Qian Xuhong's establishment of CTO School and the important ideas of Sci-Tech Driven Business Education, as well as the school's experience in cultivating science and technology talents over the years. He emphasized the existing MEM (Master of Engineering Management) program and executive education program, and the importance of the coordinated development of these programs in cultivating future oriented Chief Technology Officers and technology-based strategic entrepreneurs, changing traditional business and management talent cultivation. Han Shenghao also introduced the relevant situation of The School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Shandong University, and the two sides reached cooperation intentions on the construction of a strategic alliance in science and technology business, sharing of courses and faculty, and mutual visits of teaching teams. Both sides expressed that through cooperation, the education quality and scientific research level of the two schools will be further improved, and more talents with international perspectives and innovative abilities will be cultivated for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in society.
