Introduction
Chu Junhao (born March 20, 1945), male, born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, is an infrared physicist, semiconductor physicist and device expert, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher of the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and dean of the School of Science, Donghua University. He graduated from the Physics Department of Shanghai Normal College (now Shanghai Normal University) in 1966. He received his master's degree and doctor's degree from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1981 and 1984 respectively. From 1986 to 1988, funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, he went to the Department of Physics, Technical University of Munich, Germany, to engage in semiconductor two-dimensional electronic gas research. He joined Jiusan Society in 1985 and was elected an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005.
