On February 1, the beginning of the Chinese New Year, the launch ceremony of “Overseas Returnees Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Putuo”, jointly hosted by the Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer of East China Normal University and the Putuo Branch of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association, was successfully held at International Innovation Center of Tsinghua University (Shanghai). 

The event was hosted by Zhu Yuhui, president of Putuo Branch of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association.

Wei Jing, member of the Standing Committee of the Putuo District Committee and head of the United Front Work Department, and Chen Yanqiang, the director of the member department of attended the event and delivered a speech.

As one of the sponsors, Professor He Jiaxun, Executive Dean of CTO School, and Vice President of Putuo Branch of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association, as well as CTO School's administrative cadres, teachers and students representatives attended the launch ceremony.

At the ceremony, the leader teams of the Putuo District Organization Department, the District Talent Office, International Innovation Center of Tsinghua University (Shanghai), the National Science and Technology Park of East China Normal University, Shanghai Universal Software Park, and CTO School altogether took the stage and launched the new-year series activities.

The first “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” bases for overseas returnees in Putuo district were co-established and awarded by Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer(ECNU), the National Science and Technology Park of East China Normal University, Shanghai Universal Software Park and International Innovation Center of Tsinghua University (Shanghai).

At the launch ceremony, the activity of "20 Person and 20 Lectures for the Experts of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association in 2023" was also released, and the first group of experts were awarded letters of appointment. These distinguished and rich-experienced experts are include: Zhu Yuhui, president of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association （Putuo Branch）, deputy director and senior partner of Shanghai Bohe & Hansen Law Firm; Lin Zhong, vice president of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association （Putuo Branch), and managing partner of Shanghai Lingde Law Firm; Gong Nanjie, director of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association （Putuo Branch）and Executive Director of Shanghai Satou Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
