On the occasion of the 70th birthday of ECNU, the “2021 Science and Technology Business and Excellent Scientific Innovation Education Summit Forum and the Graduation Ceremony of the first Leading CTO Executives Education Class for Pharmaceutical and Health” sponsored by East China Normal University (hereinafter referred to as "ECNU"), undertaken by Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer "hereinafter referred to as "CTO School") and guided by the Science and Technology Department of ECNU was successfully held from October 9 to 10. The forum was strongly supported by the Science and Technology Commission of Minhang District of Shanghai, the Industry Technology Research Institute of ECNU, the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of ECNU, Asia Europe Business School of ECNU, ECNU-UH Joint Translational Science and Technology Research Institute, ECNU National University Science Park, Shanghai Zizhu Hi-tech Park (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Caohejing Hi-Tech Park Development Company, Shanghai Lingang Caohejing Talent Co., Ltd. and Shanghai China-Israel Innovation Promotion Center.
Based on the work of the CTO School in the past year, this forum invited the deans and (former deans) and senior experts of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the New York University Shanghai, Zhejiang University, Renmin University of China, the East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University and other colleges and universities to discuss how to improve the training levels of technology and business cross-innovation senior talents through the outstanding education and how to improve the development motivation and core competitiveness of technology enterprises by enhancing the strategic leadership of technology executives further focusing on the innovative ideas and direction of cross-education of “Science and Technology + Business”. The forum also gathered the scientists, technology executives and senior experts in the biomedical industry to deliver keynote speeches and conduct in-depth dialogues and exchange of ideas focusing on topics such as the cross-research on the science and technology and business education, technology transfer and technology leadership, and the frontiers of biomedical technology.
