On November 30, 2024, the highly anticipated 8th Shanghai Engineering Management Innovation Competition came to a successful conclusion at Shanghai University of Technology. This competition is organized by the Shanghai Engineering Management Society and guided by the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology. A total of 67 teams from well-known universities such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China Normal University, Tongji University, East China University of Science and Technology, and Shanghai University competed fiercely in the finals. After strict selection by the expert jury, the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) students from the Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer of East China Normal University stood out and achieved remarkable results, winning first prizes and awards in the competition for two consecutive years.
The case study "Research on Overseas Road-Testing System for New Energy Vehicles Based on Genetic Algorithm" written by the 2024 MEM student team (Wang Rui, Dai Fuyong, Huang Xiaojian, Li Yuezhao, Yue Ye) under the guidance of Associate Professor Cheng Guisun, degree supervisor , won the first prize in the competition. At the same time, under the guidance of Professor Liu Du, Assistant Professor at the Shanghai International School Chief Technology Officer(ECNU), the case study "Optimization Research on Power Supply Safety Detection and Monitoring System in F Power Supply Section" jointly written by the cross-grade MEM team (Zhu Xu 2022, Mei Yanqiong, Zhang Jianshan, Sun Yanlin 2023, and Zhao Hui 2024) won the third prize in the competition.
