On the morning of September 1st, the opening ceremony of the Neo Bay Innovation & Leadership Advanced Program at the Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer was held in Minhang Campus of East China Normal University. The event specially invited Du Debin, President of the Global Innovation and Development Research Institute at East China Normal University, to give a keynote speech. Nearly 170 management and technical personnel from enterprises in the“ Neo Bay participated in the opening ceremony, and they will receive relevant professional courses during one month special training.
At the beginning of the event, Zhao Liang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Minhang District Committee and Deputy Head of Minhang District, warmly welcomed all guests and students on behalf of the Minhang District Committee and the district government. In his speech, he stated that development is the priority, talent is the first resource, and the cultivation of scientific and technology innovation talents is an important link in enhancing the empowerment of regional scientific and technological innovation. It is also a necessary part of practicing and optimizing the business environment. Since the beginning of this year, Minhang District has made every effort to promote the construction of the Neo Bay, initiated strategic research on regional and industrial space planning, deepened the mechanism of educational cooperation. It hopes to continue promoting the linkage of the campus, industrial park, and urban areas, and further create a new ecology of science and education integration, industry and education integration, as well as collaborative coexistence. He introduced the origin of the course design for this program well as the various works carried out by CTO School. The goal of the school's chief technology officer professional master's degree education and executive education is to cultivate innovative leadership. As a pioneer education in cultivating innovative leadership, Du Debin, the President of the Global Innovation and Development Research Institute at East China Normal University, was invited to give a speech titled Strengthening Endogeneity and Cultivating Engines - Thinking on the Path of Building an International Science and Technology Innovation Center in Shanghai.

This innovation & leadership advanced program is an extension of the advantages of degree education by CTO School to the field of executive education, focusing on the three leading industries of biopharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, and high-end equipment.
