On the afternoon of November 16th, the first session of the Academician Lecture hosted by CTO school was successfully held in Building A2 of Zizhu International Education Park. Doctor Chu Junhao, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor of East China Normal University, was invited to deliver a report on the topic of Intelligent Era and Sensors. Professor He Jiaxun, executive dean of CTO school of East China Normal University, addressed the event. Yu Fangyu, a researcher from Physics and Electronics College of East China Normal Univeristy, hosted the event. And nearly 100 teachers and students from Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and East China Normal University, as well as the representatives of National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center and several technology start-up companies came to listen to the report.
Under the theme Intelligent Area and Sensors”, academician Chu Junhao described the main driving forces and development history of the four industrial revolutions, as well as the development characteristics and future technology trend of the intelligent area, and especially analyzed the regular pattern of the alternating development and interaction between science and technology. As the first doctor in Infrared Physics in China, academician Chu Junhao not only made a series of remarkable achievements with international influence in the research of infrared optoelectronic materials and devices, but also paid special attention to talent cultivation.
With the full support of Academician Qian Xuhong, academician Chu Junhao, Academician He Mingyuan and other influential experts and scholars at home and abroad, CTO school carries out executive talent training, scientific and technological innovation and technology transformation on the basis of the advantageous fields of new engineering of East China Normal University.
