On the afternoon of September 27, the “Expert Seminar on the Construction of Full-chain Ecological Service Platform for Technological Innovation (Intellectual Property)” hosted by the CTO School was held in Conference Room 117, Building A2, Zizhu International Education Park.
In response to the spirit of the Outline for Building a Powerful Country in Intellectual Property Rights (2021-2035), the meeting brought together the experts in the field of intellectual property rights to discuss and demonstrate the construction of full-chain ecological service platform for scientific and technological innovation, which is of great significance to the implementation of the outline of “relying on universities to lay out national intellectual property talent training bases and strengthening the construction of intellectual property colleges and universities”, so as to support the strategy of strengthening the country's intellectual property power and enhance the country's core competitiveness.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Wang Zhenghuan, Associate Dean of the CTO School. Professor Yang Haibo, Director of the Science and Technology Division of the East China Normal University, and Professor He Jiaxun, Executive Dean of the CTO School, delivered a speech at the meeting. The meeting specially invited the guests including Qi Baoxin, Senior Partner of Shanghai All Bright Law Offices, Han Mei, Senior Partner and Deputy Director of Shanghai Dingda Law Firm, Ding Xianjie, Partner of Beijing King & WoodMallesons Shanghai Branch, Li Wenhong, Director of Beijing Unitalen Law Office Shanghai Branch, Yang Qing, Partner of Shanghai City Development Law Firm and so on attended the meeting and delivered keynote speeches. At the end of the activity, the participating experts and scholars had in-depth discussions on university-enterprise cooperation in patent application, technology transfer and intellectual property protection, industry-university-research and legal consultation, scientific and technological innovation and professional services, and reached a lot of consensuses, which laid a sound foundation for the construction and development of ecological service platform for scientific and technological innovation in the whole chain.
