The CTO School held the preparatory meeting for the establishment of the “Research Center for Excellent Practice Knowledge in the Technology Industry” on September 7, 2021, in order to strengthen the research on the excellent practice knowledge and the construction of science and technology business discipline and speed up the training and education of chief technology officers in the science and technology industry of China facing the main battlefield of national economy and major national demand. Starting from the biomedicine, one of the industries that the school focuses on, it conducted in-depth study on enterprise cooperation cases, refined and theorized management practice knowledge, and built a knowledge base of science and technology business practice cases. In the first batch of enterprise cooperation case studies of the Center, 5 partners of biomedical enterprises had been identified, among which Shanghai Oebiotech Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Oebiotech”) was one of the cooperative enterprises.
On the morning of September 15, Professor He Jiaxun, Executive Dean of the CTO School and Chinese Dean of the Asia Europe Business School, led the faculty and administrative team to visit Oebiotech in Pujiang Intelligence Valley Business Park and discussed the research and development of cooperation cases, talent training and other matters. Xiao Yunping, CEO of Oebiotech, personally received the CTO School team and extended a warm welcome to Professor He and his team.
At the meeting, Mr. Xiao first briefly reviewed the development course of Oebiotech. Mr. Xiao believed that with the continuous expansion of the enterprise scale, it was very important to strengthen the construction of enterprise management and strategic system, and it was a great challenge for technical talents to improve the management ability. It was just the time for the CTO School to cultivate the management thinking and ability of technical talents as its teaching goal, which was of great value to the development and management of enterprises. This was also in line with the “P line” and “M line” cross talent training mode of Oebiotech. He hoped to strengthen cooperation with the CTO School in the future and provide reference for other enterprises in the industry and provide the CTO School with the supports in the executive education and the teaching of degree education courses based on the solid foundation and development needs of Oebiotech.
Professor He Jiaxun thanked Manager Xiao Yunping for his hospitality and exchanged views on strengthening the in-depth cooperation between the two sides. Professor He Jiaxun pointed out that he hoped to establish cooperation with Oebiotech to promote the development of executive education programs and degree programs in order to improve the curriculum content of CTO executive education and degree education and build an industry communication platform to better meet the practical needs of students.
