On the afternoon of September 7th, the preparatory meeting of “Research Center for Excellent Practice Knowledge in the Technology Industry” of the CTO School was successfully held in A2 Building, Zizhu Park.
At the preparatory meeting, Professor He Jiaxun introduced the original intention and basic understanding of the establishment of the “Research Center for Excellent Practice Knowledge in the Technology Industry”. In other words, the management research should be oriented to the explanation and solving of major social problems. The research and refinement of management practice knowledge should aim at pursuing academic excellence, shall not be satisfied with obtaining general knowledge, but should strengthen the research on the excellent practice knowledge. The “Research Center for Excellent Practice Knowledge in the Technology Industry” would build a knowledge base of practical cases of science and technology and business, starting from case studies, but going beyond the case studies themselves. Starting from the enterprise case study programs of Career Breakthrough Class for Leading CTO in Pharmaceutical and Health Enterprises of the CTO School and carrying out case studies of enterprise cooperation, the school will provide decision-making consulting services for technology enterprises and government departments.
At the preparatory meeting, the school launched the first phase of the case study of technology enterprise cooperation. Through preliminary preparation and communication, the first batch of enterprise cooperation case studies have identified 5 biomedical enterprise partners and identified the leaders of each case group. At the meeting, the leader of each group gave a brief introduction to the relevant cooperative enterprises, and encouraged the participating teachers and students to join each case study group. The teachers and students discussed and shared the case study method, paper writing mode, cooperation mode with enterprises, achievement publication and other topics.
Professor He Jiaxun pointed out that the work of the “Research Center for Excellent Practice Knowledge in the Technology Industry” would focus on the layout of the “3+X” industry. “3” refers to biopharmaceutical, integrated circuits and artificial intelligence. “X” refers to a number of emerging strategic industries. The teaching and research work of science and technology business should be closely combined with the science and technology industry, go beyond the level of individual enterprise cases, skillfully use the multi-case study methods, and carry out continuous industry tracking and technology development cycle research.
