The CTO Executive Education - Pharmaceutical and Health Enterprise Leading CTO Career Breakthrough Class first opened

In June 2021, the phase I of the “Career Breakthrough Class for Leading CTO in Pharmaceutical and Health Enterprises” was successfully opened in Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer of the East China Normal University, pioneering the technology executive education courses for the double first-class universities.

The training course system totally designs six modules, hoping to help students achieve higher advancement in the career development of technology executives through all-round experiential teaching. As of September 4, the training class had successfully completed the courses of five modules – “New Trend of Innovative Methods of Pharmaceutical and health Enterprises”, “Improvement of Compliance Management of Pharmaceutical and Health Enterprises under Strong Supervision”, “Listing of Pharmaceutical and Health Enterprises at Home and Abroad and Operation of Pharmaceutical Fund”, “Improvement of Leadership of Pharmaceutical Technology Executives” and “Transformation of Thinking Beyond Knowledge and Ability”. It simultaneously held “Yangtze River Delta Pharmaceutical and Health Enterprise CTO Innovation Forum” and “Yangtze River Delta Pharmaceutical and Health Enterprise Compliance Management Forum”. More than 40 senior experts and industry executives from Sanofi, Shanghai Pharmaceuticals, Innovent, BRL Medicine and other multinational pharmaceutical companies, local innovative pharmaceutical companies, large venture capital, well-known consulting institutions gathered together. 

At the same time, CTO School has established an Excellent Practice Research Center of Science and Technology Industry, which collaborated with enterprises to carry out research on technology transfer and achievement transformation, establish a knowledge base of science and technology business practice cases, promote the integration of industry and education, and explore a new mode of talent training.
