On October 28th, the fourth TEBI industry salon organized by the Shanghai International School of Technology Officer（CTO School）, with the theme of CTO Vision - Breaking through Key Technologies, Driving Industrial Upgrading and Transformation, was successfully held at the Putuo Campus of East China Normal University with the support and the assistance of MEM student professional development committees.
CTO School is committed to achieving the social value of technology through the collaborative transformation of people and technology, and has always adhered to the core values of innovation changing the world. With the rapid development of the times, the importance of interdisciplinary integration and creation is self-evident. The MEM （Master of Engineering Management）has launched the Tech-enabled Business Innovation Salon (referred to as TEBI), leading MEMers to understand cutting-edge technology and explore new business models in multiple fields. At the same time, it focuses on interdisciplinary, scientific innovation, and development trends, allowing students to timely understand cutting-edge information.
Lu Yi from the 2023 CTO Elite Class 1, Zhu Xu from the 2022 CTO Elite Class,and Wang Annian from the 2023 CTO Elite Class 2 had wonderful sharing and exchanges on the themes of Technology Empowerment and Business Innovation in the High-Speed Railway Industry, Industry Analysis of Medical CT and Its Key Components, and Analysis and Review of Information Technology Innovation Applications. This TEBI industry salon is hosted by Yan Xiaofeng, a 2022 CTO elite class student.
Lu Yi shared information on the medical CT industry, core component knowledge, current technical pain points, as well as the performance and future development trends of Chinese enterprises in tackling these issues. He stated that the development of high-end imaging devices has always been a challenge, but he believes that there will be breakthroughs in the next 5 to 10 years.
Through this sharing, everyone has gained a deeper understanding of the business innovation and future development of technology empowering the high-speed railway industry, as well as a clearer understanding of how to apply technologies such as AI, blockchain, and big data to play a role in the high-speed railway industry.
During the sharing, Wang Annian emphasized the importance of safe and controllable development and information technology innovation.
In this event, three invited students provided professional explanations on their respective fields of expertise, bringing valuable experience and knowledge to everyone. Their sharing has given students from different industry backgrounds a deeper understanding of how high-speed railways, healthcare, and information technology industries drive industrial upgrading, and how technology empowers thousands of industries. Amidst enthusiastic applause, the salon event came to a perfect end.
