On November 26th, the 7th Shanghai Engineering Management Innovation Competition, hosted by the Shanghai Engineering Association, was successfully held at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. 27 teams from universities such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China Normal University, and East China University of Science and Technology participated in the finals. After 6 teams from CTO School won the prize in the preliminary round and 5 teams advanced to the finals, MEM students achieved excellent results again. After fierce competition, they finally successfully won 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 2 third prizes. This is another breakthrough in the outstanding education of our MEM program, following Zhang Xinyao's first prize in the 2023 (8th) National Higher Education Project Management Competition and International Project Management Competition.
Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer(East China Normal University) is committed to achieving the social value of technology through the collaborative transformation of people and technology, adhering to the core values of innovation changes the world, shaping the thinking, abilities, and patterns of technology and innovation management leaders, and cultivating Chief Technology Officers and future technology-based strategic entrepreneurs with a global vision and social mission. To better cultivate the comprehensive abilities of the students, the school encouraged MEM students to participate in this competition, and organized a total of 11 participating teams, as well as provided professional guidance and supervisors for each group. Under the careful guidance of the supervisors, each team has compiled competition cases through multiple discussions and analyses, combined with practical work cases. This competition fully demonstrates the outstanding comprehensive strength and competitive spirit of our students, as well as the fruitful achievements of the MEM program at East China Normal University in talent cultivation.
Through this competition, the students not only successfully demonstrated meticulously prepared innovative engineering management cases, but also further deepened their understanding of management practices during the competition. The school will focus on cultivating students' Sci&Tech innovation ability and innovation leadership to meet the future challenges!
