Deepening International Exchanges and Exploring Future Cooperation and Development with the Delegation from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey

To cultivate excellent Sci-Tech Driven Business talents with an international perspective, the ECNU-Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer and the Asia Europe Business School (Sci-Tech Driven Business Consortium) of East China Normal University continuously deepen and expand international exchanges and cooperation, establish collaborations with overseas universities, and jointly build a high-quality academic and educational resource platform.



On the morning of March 11th, Dietrich Tschanz, Assistant Dean of the Business School at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, led a delegation to visit school for in-depth communication and exchange on the topic of future cooperation and co-construction of both sides. Professor He Jiaxun, Executive Dean of Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer and Chinese Dean of Asia Europe Business School, Zhang Mingyue (Assistant Professor), Wu Xiaobo (Office Director of CTO School), Wu Wanying Academic Secretary of AEBS, Chen Wenting (Secretary of Foreign Affairs of CTO School), Mark Ge(Assistant Director, Global Initiatives, Rutgers Global ) and Curtis Chan, Assistant Dean for Advising and International Students Academic Outreach, participated in the exchange.


He Jiaxun first welcomed Dietrich Tschanz and his delegation. He expressed great anticipation for future collaborations with Rutgers University, and through their collaborative projects, more students will go out to understand the changes and new trends in the world today, experience cultural exchanges between China and the United States, and promote academic exchange between the two teams. In the future, American students are also welcome to come here to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and experience its charm through learning and communication.



Dietrich Tschanz is a "China expert" who loves Chinese culture. In his early years, he pursued a doctoral degree in Chinese language and culture research at Princeton University in the United States. He expressed great anticipation for cooperation and exchange with the Asia Europe Business School and the Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer. He hopes that students can have a good cross-cultural experience in future cooperation projects between both sides, promoting cultural communication between China and the United States.


Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth discussions on international cooperation 3+1 projects, double degree programs, short-term exchange programs, summer schools, and more potential cooperation topics in the future. Both sides expressed their expectations for deepening cooperation, promoting academic exchanges between China and the United States, and jointly cultivating Sci-Tech driven business talents with a global perspective, cross-border work ability, and social responsibility in the new era of artificial intelligence.
