Deepening cooperative relationships
At the beginning of this semester, He Jiaxun, Executive Dean of CTO School, lead the teaching, research, and administrative teams conducted follow-up visits to the strategic cooperation and industry-education integration demonstration bases related to the artificial intelligence industry. The team visited three artificial intelligence enterprises and institutions, including Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, intellicloud and Shanghai Detuo Information Technology Co., Ltd.
Liu Yanjing, Secretary of the Party Branch and Vice President of the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute"), Song Xiuqing, Deputy Director of the Collaborative Development Center, and relevant leaders of the Technology Innovation Center and Talent Development Center received the college's return visit team. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the joint construction of the artificial intelligence curriculum system, scientific research project cooperation, and expansion of ecological activities. The follow-up team first visited the exhibition hall of the research institute to understand the current development of artificial intelligence and innovative application scenarios in various fields. At the subsequent exchange symposium, the leaders of the research institute showcased their achievements in the construction of high-end professional think tanks, research and development and industrial transformation, as well as industry finance and ecological innovation. He Jiaxun stated that in 2024, CTO School will closely follow the pulse of the times and propose to "stand in the new AI era, lead science and technology innovation education". It will cooperate more closely with the research institute, jointly develop courses, strengthen the integration of industry and education, build a competitive curriculum system, and meet the current and future talent needs. The smooth holding of this exchange meeting marks the establishment of a stronger bond between the two sides in cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, social activities, and other areas. Both sides will strengthen communication and exchange, and jointly contribute to the development of artificial intelligence talent cultivation in China.
Zheng Zhanwei, Vice President of intellicloud Delivery Operations Center, and Fang Aiguo, Director of Product Solutions, as well as other management teams, received a follow-up visit from the school. The two sides discussed the iteration of the talent training curriculum system in the new AI era, and the strengthening of academic research cooperation by combining the school's scientific research strength and enterprise business advantages. They also hoped to strengthen the integration of industry and education in the future. Wu Xinye, President of Deto Information, and Zhang Fei, Head of Industry Education Ecology and Product Design, among others, received the school's follow-up team and introduced Deto Information's business around artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing technologies. They discussed the development trends of new technologies such as humanoid robots, autonomous driving, and big models, as well as the experience of designing cutting-edge courses in artificial intelligence. We will continue to deepen cooperation in talent cultivation in the future.
Five major artificial intelligence industry education integration bases
The School has established a support platform for the lifelong career and career development of CTO talents through an innovative industry education integration demonstration base. It has hired well-known technology enterprise executives as industry mentors and practical professors, combining classroom teaching with scientific and technological innovation enterprise practice. With the goal of improving abilities, thinking, and patterns, it focuses on innovation and leadership, and cultivates senior talents in technology and innovation management for high-tech industries and scientific and technological innovation enterprises. As of March 2024, the college has established nearly 30 strategic cooperation and industry education integration demonstration bases, as well as 3 scientific and technological innovation full chain ecological service platforms with internal and external cooperative units. Through platform construction, cross disciplinary research among teachers and students, the functions of the base have been achieved, and various operational management of the base has been strengthened, shaping the thinking, abilities, and patterns of technology and innovation management leaders.
At present, Shanghai International Chief Technology Officer College has five strategic cooperation and industry education integration demonstration bases related to the artificial intelligence industry. On September 8, 2021, the "Intelligent Robot Application Ecology Interdisciplinary Research and Demonstration Education Base" jointly built by intelligent machine operator Data Robotics and Suzhou Xiangda Technology Co., Ltd. and the college was officially unveiled. On January 12, 2022, the "Artificial Intelligence Industry CTO Executive Education and Digital Innovation Demonstration Base" jointly built by intellicloud Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Mingchen Zhihang Technology Co., Ltd., and the college was officially unveiled. On November 30, 2022, the "Data Intelligence Industry CTO Executive Education and Innovation Demonstration Base" jointly built by Shanghai Detuo Information Technology Co., Ltd. and the school was officially unveiled. On December 30, 2022, the "Yangtze River Delta Artificial Intelligence Industry CTO Executive Practice Demonstration Base" jointly built by Jiangsu Yinpao Network Technology Co., Ltd. and the college was officially unveiled. The construction of the base has launched a new model of talent cultivation through school enterprise cooperation, focusing on the cultivation of high-end research-oriented and application-oriented composite talents in artificial intelligence, forming a backbone force to promote the development of China's artificial intelligence industry. On March 24, 2023 CTO School and Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Research Institute officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement between the two parties.

Around the three high-tech industries of artificial intelligence, biopharmaceuticals, and integrated circuits, the college has a group of leading cooperative enterprises in the industry, such as Alibaba (Group) Haojing Cloud Computing Technology Co., Ltd., Data Robotics Co., Ltd. (Cloud Robot Operator), Shanghai Industrial Control Security Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., JD Group, Fosun Pharmaceuticals, Shanghai Shangyao First Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Xinda Biopharmaceutical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Bangyao Biotechnology Co., Ltd., etc. Focusing on the field of artificial intelligence, the college has appointed industry mentors such as Wei Hongfeng, CEO and Chief Scientist of intellicloud, Wu Xinggui, Vice President of Data Technology, Wu Xinye, President of Deto Information, Li Yuan, Chief Technology Officer of intellicloud, and Mei Congyin, Senior Expert in Digital Transformation of Haojing Cloud, to promote the cultivation of CTO leading talents.
