On the afternoon of April 26th, the Institute of Advanced Industry Engineering at Shanghai International School of Chief Technology (ECNU) Establishment Ceremony & 2023 Semiconductor Industry Technology Forum, jointly organized by CTO School and Asia Europe Business School of East China Normal University and Haifa Joint Translational Science and Technology Research Instituteof East China Normal University, was successfully held in the lecture hall of Zizhu International Education Park. At this forum, He Jiaxun, Executive Dean of Shanghai International School Of Chief Technology Officer(ECNU), delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and awarded an appointment certificate to Zhu Yide, distinguished professor of practice at the CTO School and director of Institute of Advanced Industrial Engineering. The CTO Innovation Leadership Advanced Program in the Semiconductor Industry held an official release ceremony. At the same time, the 2023 Semiconductor Industry Technology Forum invited industry experts and leaders to focus on topics such as semiconductor industry technology development, challenges, and application design, and published a keynote report. In the opening speech, Dean. He Jiaxun expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of CTO School for the support of all the attending guests. He pointed out that technology and business reflect the demand for the cultivation of senior management talents in today's era. Only talents trained in response to today's mainstream development trends can have competitiveness and greater social value, which is a consensus in the direction of business education reform. At the same time, he cited the establishment process of Harvard Business School professor Christensen's disruptive innovation theory, pointing out the importance and necessity of continuously tracking key industries for the contribution of technology and business research to socio-economic development. Therefore, for corporate executives and industry leaders, the college has also established executive education non-degree programs in industries such as biomedicine, beauty and wellness, and financial technology. The ICoETT Center (Innovation Center of Education, Technology and Talent), established by CTO School, as a new platform, will carry out various works in the future, build a bridge between social demands and academic education, and provide more possibilities for the integration of industry and education.
At the end of the forum, Professor. Zhu Yide presided over a roundtable conversation with four guests, including Gu Zhenpeng, General Manager of Israel Semiconductor Testing Equipment CamTek, China, Xu Jiawei, Professor of Microelectronics School at Fudan University, Huang Xiongchuan, Professor of Information Science and Engineering School at Fudan University, and Song Xibin, Distinguished Professor of Practice at CTO School. They were from the perspectives of the industry and academia, and combined with their respective industry backgrounds, deeply explore hot topics such as how to improve chip yield in the semiconductor industry.
