On April 18th, the opening ceremony of the "Neo Bay" Innovation Leadership Advanced Training Program (Phase II) of the Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer( East China Normal University) and the first lesson of "Accelerating the Development of New Quality Productivity" were held in the lecture hall of Optics Building at the Minhang Campus. Jiang Dongliang, Chairman of Shanghai University Science and Technology Industry Group, was specially invited to give a lecture on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in universities during the first class. More than a hundred research management personnel from the departments of East China Normal University, key members of the science and engineering research group, leaders of the Wujing Town government, and technical and management personnel from enterprises in the "Neo Bay" region will participate in this event. They will receive relevant professional course training in a series of special training program. This event is hosted by Wang Zhenghuan, Vice Dean of CTO School.

He pointed out that East China Normal University actively leverages its educational and innovative advantages, relying on the CTO School and working together with the People's Government of Wujing Town to create the second special training course, cultivating technology transfer talents, empowering the innovation and entrepreneurship talent team of the "Neo Bay" science and technology innovation policy source functional area, and providing professional knowledge learning and reserves for the school's functional departments and relevant scientific research team leaders. He Jiaxun, Executive Dean of Shanghai International School of Chief Technology Officer，introduced the overall arrangement of this special training program. As the course publisher, he introduced that in response to the differentiated and personalized needs of different students learned from previous research, this year's special training course will be carried out in the form of a series of training projects, divided into a series of major courses on new quality productivity and innovative leadership, as well as specialized courses on science and technology transfer talents and science and technology entrepreneurship talents. Jiang Dongliang shared his thoughts and experiences on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in universities during his lecture. He said that in the current complex international situation, China will have two major trends: the first trend is the combination of scientific research and application, that is, the combination of schools and enterprises; The second trend is the formation of a unified large market within China. In this context, China needs entrepreneurs and managers who understand technology, as well as scientists and researchers who understand management. Jiang Dongliang pointed out that the transformation of scientific and technological achievements is guided by practice and standardized by application. CTO education cultivates applied talents and provides strong support for technological development and the economy. He also specifically introduced the main body, conditions, and stages of technological achievement transformation, hoping that students will pay attention to them in their future work practice.
