On October 26-27, 2024, the 3rd China Graduate Engineering Management Case Competition was successfully held in Beijing, with 71 teams from Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, East China Normal University, and others participating in the final competition. Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Liu Du from the Shanghai International Chief Technology Officer College of East China Normal University, the case study "AI Empowered High speed Railway Contact Network Safety Quality Inspection System - Research Based on F Power Supply Section" co authored by Zhu Xu from the 2022 MEM, Mei Yanqiong from the 2023 MEM, Guan Jingshu from the 2023 MEM, Zhao Hui from the 2024 MEM, and Zhang Junyuan from the Higher Education Research Institute won the second prize in the 3rd China Graduate Engineering Management Case Competition. Our students have participated in the competition for two consecutive years and achieved excellent results, demonstrating the outstanding educational achievements of the MEM project at East China Normal University and reflecting the pioneering spirit of continuous improvement of teachers and students!
The China Graduate Engineering Management Case Competition is one of the themed events of the "China Graduate Innovation Practice Series Competition". It is a national graduate competition mainly aimed at master's degree students in engineering management (MEM) and other related majors. This case competition actively guides MEM and other related professional graduate students, collects and imports engineering management cases from social practice, analyzes dynamic data using scientific management tools, extracts and summarizes production practices and development experiences in various engineering fields, and shares them.
This conference is supported by the National Engineering Management Professional Degree Research Provincial Education Guidance Committee, hosted by the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Association and the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, organized by Tsinghua University, and jointly organized by Tongji University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Chongqing University, and Dalian University of Technology. In the preliminary stage of the competition, a total of 572 excellent cases were received from 187 graduate training units. After anonymous expert evaluation during the preliminary stage, 71 teams from Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, East China Normal University, and others advanced to the national finals.
